To determine the correct breast shield size, start by using the original breast shield in your Eonian Care pump kit. Gently attach the breast shield against your breast and center your nipple in the funnel. Begin pumping with the massage mode for a few minutes. The correct size is indicated when your nipple moves freely and easily within the funnel, with little or no areola tissue inside.

If you experience pain or sore nipples after pumping, it may indicate that the standard-sized breast shield is not the right fit for you. If the breast shield is too small and your nipple rubs along the side of the funnel, or if you feel unexpressed milk after pumping, consider ordering the 28mm bowl shape or 32mm horn shape breast shield kit. On the other hand, if the breast shield is too large and pulls in excessive areola along with the nipple, causing discomfort or pain, it is advisable to try a smaller size.
